El pasado 27 de abril se llevó a cabo el Segundo Foro de Ciudades inteligentes «Hacia la eficiencia energética». Evento organizado por la Alcaldía de Villavicencio y la Empresa de Tecnología y Servicios Alborada, en el GHL Hotel Grand Villavicencio, el cual fue un espacio dedicado a exponer temas de movilidad sostenible e innovación territorial.
Este foro contó con una agenda académica de la cual, el ingeniero César Díaz, miembro del Comité de Ciudades Inteligentes hizo parte como expositor con el tema “Innovación Territorial”. En este panel César resalta la importancia del trabajo en conjunto integrado por la academia, la empresa y el Estado, en función de las ciudades inteligentes y como la Red ha trabajado de forma trasversal desde sus líneas de trabajo enfocadas hacía los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible, enfatizando que no solo el apartado tecnológico hace a una ciudad inteligente.
En esta conferencia se resalta el trabajo que se ha realizado desde la Red y el Grupo de Ciudades inteligentes Rumbo en pro de ciudades inteligentes, proyectos como «Barrio digital», el cual busca crear una plataforma que conecte los alrededores de las universidades desde las nuevas tecnologías, digitalizando los alrededores del barrio donde se encuentran las universidades e instituciones que trabajan en el proyecto, generando un modelo en 3D dentro de una plataforma en la cual pueda se pueda interactuar de manera real y sea utilizado por las entidades publicas y privadas, y también por quienes habitan las zonas incluidas en el proyecto.
