Los planes de Villavicencio para ser una ciudad inteligente desde la movilidad

Asociados y aliados a Rumbo conocieron más de cerca la situación que vive Villavicencio, y cómo se avanza allí actualmente para innovar la movilidad desde la academia y el sector público, en el nuevo Rumbo Smart realizado el pasado 17 de junio. Con la participación especial de Mauricio Frías, Secretario de Movilidad de Villavicencio, pudimos descubrir los planes de innovación locales para integrar las bases de una ciudad inteligente.

Temas como el sistema inteligente de semaforización, la promoción de modos sostenibles de transporte, avanzar en el plan maestro de movilidad, establecer la primera fase del sistema estratégico de transporte público colectivo, la implementación de señalización en Villavicencio y efectuar campañas de seguridad vial, hacen parte de los retos que se plantean.

Complementando esta acción pública para el mejoramiento del transporte, Carlos Alberto Díaz y Karen Beltrán, investigadores de Ciudades Inteligentes Rumbo y representante de la Corporación Universitaria del Meta, presentaron los proyectos que adelantan desde su institución para apoyar el desarrollo tecnológico en materia de movilidad.

Este panel fue moderado por Laura Johanna González, directora del departamento de Informática Educativa de la Fundación Universitaria del Área Andina e integrante del grupo de Ciudades Inteligentes Rumbo.

Así continúa Rumbo Smart, un conjunto de webinars dedicados a las ciudades inteligentes y a todos aquellos que quieran aprender más de ellas, realizados el tercer jueves de cada mes.
