El 28 de Septiembre se llevó a cabo en el Auditorio Nativos, de la Universidad Ean el I Encuentro Internacional de Bibliotecas Rumbo: Innovación y Aprendizaje Híbrido, organizado por Rumbo y el comité de Bibliotecas de la Red. Este evento tuvo como fin crear un espacio académico de discusión, aprendizaje e intercambio de experiencias en la educación superior en torno a la implementación, el desarrollo y la innovación en el aprendizaje híbrido y los nuevos entornos de la educación, haciendo particular énfasis en el papel de las bibliotecas en estos procesos.
En la mañana se desarrolló el panel “Tendencias en el Aprendizaje Híbrido”, moderado por la Universidad Ean en el cual participaron vicerrectores y decanos de la Universidad Nacional Abierta y a distancia – UNAD, Universidad de Cundinamarca y la Corporación Universitaria Minuto de Dios, información. En este espacio se planteó una conversación sobre las tendencias de aprendizaje híbrido y la evolución que han tenido estos procesos formativos en cada una de las instituciones participantes en el panel, de este pudimos concluir que el aprendizaje debe orientarse a la transformación, es decir el aprendizaje debe ayudar a las personas a construir sus proyectos de vida y mejorar las condiciones de los contextos en donde se encuentran, no solo pensar en combinar tecnologías con la educación tradicional, sino que hay una serie de elementos que reconocen a todos los actores y permiten mayor participación colectiva, el profesor no solo está llamado a enseñar a dar información sino que es una persona que acompaña, es un colaborador, es una persona que es reconocida por los estudiantes como un colega y ayuda a generar trayectorias de aprendizaje, con modelos de evaluación formativa, donde se reconocen diferentes estilos de aprendizaje y asume las tecnologías emergentes.
El encuentro contó con el doctor Julio Alonso Arévalo, Bibliotecario Facultad de Traducción, Universidad de Salamanca de España, como primer invitado internacional, quien afirma que las bibliotecas han evolucionado en espacios polifacéticos, en los que es posible desarrollar alfabetizaciones múltiples y aprendizajes colectivos, donde la tecnología se convierte en catalizador para el fomento de un nuevo concepto de bibliotecas, en los cuales se pueden generar diferentes actividades además de la lectura, reforzando su posición cómo espacios de participación ciudadana.
El doctor Carlos Saldaña, Profesor de Procesos de Innovación del Centro de Estudios Superiores de Diseño de Monterrey – CEDIM de México y segundo invitado internacional de este Encuentro, afirma que con los avances de la tecnología y la educación híbrida, es necesario preguntarse como maestros, qué queda para entregar a los estudiantes, Para ello, es fundamental la importancia que se dé a los modelos inspiradores, así como el reconocimiento de la diferencia en sus estudiantes por parte del maestro, comprendiendo que cada uno tiene sus propias particularidades, para este fin plantea como estrategia el uso del mapa de empatía, el cual consiste en una herramienta hecha para profundizar en el entendimiento de las necesidades (implícitas y explicitas) del estudiante, considerando lo que este ve, siente, escucha, oye, dice y hace; que permite enfocar en lo que realmente necesita o le interesa. Finaliza reiterando que los estudiantes realmente necesitan modelos inspiradores, gente que pueda salir del rol, maestro – alumno y esté abierto a generar una relación como colegas, un modelo cercano el cual inspire a ser como él.
Este primer encuentro cierra con el panel “Las bibliotecas Universitarias y su papel en la Educación Híbrida”, el cual fue un espacio donde los invitados internacionales y directores de las bibliotecas, conversaron sobre como las bibliotecas se han transformado ante los nuevos métodos de educación y como han respondido a las nuevas necesidades de sus usuarios. De este panel se concluye que para las bibliotecas el aprendizaje híbrido no es algo nuevo y la pandemia fue una puerta para mostrar todo lo que tienen para ofrecer, donde fue necesaria una mayor apropiación de herramientas que tal vez desconocían y la virtualidad se convirtió en una oportunidad para generar desde las bibliotecas nuevos espacios de aprendizaje, que más allá de ser lugares de consultas, las bibliotecas se transformen en espacio agradables donde los estudiantes vivan experiencias de aprendizaje holístico e incluyentes.
El Encuentro contó con Digital Content, Cengage, Biteca, eLibro, Ebsco, Proquest, Grupo INGCO, Sage, Grupo Difusión Científica, Interbooks y Vlex, empresas especializadas en repositorios bibliográficos e investigación como aliados estratégicos, quienes estuvieron presentes durante toda la jornada exponiendo sus servicios a quienes participaron del Encuentro.
